Meet The Team

Liz graduated from the University of Liverpool Dental Hospital in 1996. She then went on to complete her vocational training in general practice and continued as an Associate Dentist, undertaking general and cosmetic dentistry both in the NHS and privately before setting up Lingley Road Dental Surgery in 2004, where she is now the Principal Dentist.In 2005, Liz completed the Advanced Restorative Course with Dr Paul Tipton in Manchester, acquiring the skills to provide all aspects of cosmetic dentistry to a high standard.

In 2006, she was approved as a Dental Vocational Trainer giving her the skills to help with the training of Vocational Dentists starting in general dental practice.

In 2015, Liz completed the Botox® and Dermal Filler course with Tipton Training to acquire the skills necessary to provide the treatment for facial aesthetics.

As well as attending regular postgraduate dental courses, Liz makes it a priority to stay up to date with continuing education to ensure that her patients receive the best possible dental care. She has a very keen interest in restorative and cosmetic dentistry and also treating nervous patients. She has made it her priority to provide highly equipped surgeries, to provide the best equipment and facilities for our patients.

She is also a member of the British Dental Association, and the British Dental Health Foundation.

In her spare time she loves to be outdoors and go on walks, has a love of travel and also spending time with family and friends. Her two beautiful nieces play a large part in her life!

Sarah graduated from the University of Leeds in 2018, gaining a joint Masters and Bachelor degree in Dental Surgery. Sarah worked in a dental practice from the age of 16 and then went on to pursue a career as a dentist. Enjoying all aspects of dentistry, Sarah finds satisfaction in treating anxious patients and helping them to alleviate their fears.

As a member of the British Dental Association, Sarah keeps up to date with the latest developments in dentistry by completing courses in the dental field. In 2020, Sarah gained additional qualifications in the treatment of botulinum toxin and dermal fillers.

In her spare time Sarah enjoys holidays and spending time with her family and friends. She also holds a diploma in floristry, and still enjoys this as a hobby.

Geeta graduated from Dr. D.Y. Patil Dental College,India in 2007 and worked there for 3 years before moving to the UK and registering with the GDC in 2013.

Since then, she has worked in various private practices in Manchester. Alongside this, she also attended various courses to further her education and also completed the  Advanced Restorative Dentistry course from Tipton training in Manchester.

Geeta has a passion to provide the highest standard of care to her patients, and focuses on preventive dentistry. She feels greatly rewarded with her job role, especially from helping nervous patients to overcome their dental anxieties.

When not at work Geeta is busy building legos with her 5 year old son and enjoys going to the gym, reading and embroidery.

She is very happy to have joined the team here and is looking forward to help patients improve their oral health.

Justine is our Dental Hygienist and she has worked at Lingley Road Dental Surgery for 12 years. After working as a Dental Nurse for 5 years she qualified from Liverpool Dental Hospital in 1992 and has extensive experience as a Dental Hygienist working in both general practice and hospital roles at Alder Hey and Liverpool Dental Hospital. She has continued her post qualification education by gaining the Diploma in Radiography and Dental Health Education.Justine has a commitment to providing treatment in a relaxed and friendly environment and has a special interest in providing treatment for nervous and phobic patients which has led her to taking a Diploma (Advanced) in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy.

Justine says that what she particularly enjoys about working at Lingley Rd is that we are all friends which leads to a friendly, professional and efficient service. In her spare time, she loves travelling, socialising especially with her friends and family at comedy clubs. She also enjoys yoga and keeping fit.

Head Nurse  

Dawn qualified as a Dental Nurse in 1994 gaining the national certificate in dental nursing and then registered with the GDC as a fully qualified Dental Nurse in 2008. She also has an NVQ L3 in customer service.

Dawn has achieved a certain number of skills in various aspects, medical emergencies, radiography and cross infection, and recently in the last few years done a course in team leading skills. This has helped her with her role as Head Dental Nurse. 

Dawn has worked at the practice since 2004 and during this time has had two daughters, she loves shopping and socialising with her closest friends and enjoys baking cakes for friends and family for special occasions.

Hayley completed her NVQ Level 3 in Oral Health Care in 2008 and in 2009 she joined the team at Lingley Road Dental Surgery. She has a keen interest in radiography and oral surgery and hopes to complete further qualifications in these areas in the near future.Hayley has primarily been given the role of Head Receptionist, due to her vast knowledge and experience in dealing with all reception duties.

Hayley has a young daughter who she enjoys spending all her spare time with.

Amy qualified as a Dental Nurse in 2008 and joined our practice in 2012.

Amy had a keen interest in cross infection control and quickly became our decontamination lead. From then developing skills within our clerical department while updating our policies and keeping us inline with GDPR regulations, the next natural step was towards management.

As practice manager, Amy encourages our staff to strive for excellence to ensure our high standards are met.

In her spare time Amy has two children and performs all over as a solo singer.

Natalie is the newest member of the Lingley Road dental team, Natalie qualified as a Dental Nurse in 2012, her interests include Radiography and surgical procedures.

Natalie is a mum of two young children and enjoys spending time with her family.

Stacey has been a member of the team since 2019, before qualifying as a Dental Nurse in April 2021 with City and Guilds. Stacey enjoys all aspects of dentistry, with a keen interest in cosmetics. Stacey is a mum of one and enjoys spending her free time with her family.
